Why I Created This Space (And Why You Belong Here Too)

Hey, I’m Monica, childcare provider, printable creator, coffee lover, and now the face behind this little corner of the internet.

Before we get into the systems, strategies, and kid-niche magic, I wanted to share why I created this space.

Not the algorithm reason.
Not the marketing reason.
The real reason.

Because if you’re like me, you probably don’t have a ton of time… but you want this so much it almost hurts.

You’ve got dreams that don’t fit neatly between snack time and circle time, and you’re trying to figure out how to make them work anyway.

The Struggle That No One Talks About

You’ve read the blog posts, joined the Facebook groups, maybe even taken a few courses. You’re pumped and ready to go.

And then the advice hits:

“Post every day.”
“Create ten new Pinterest pins daily.”
“Start an email list yesterday.”
“Be everywhere online.”

And honestly? Those are great tips.
They work, for people who can dedicate hours every day to their business.

But what about us, the ones building dreams in thirty-minute bursts during nap time?

We don’t have teams.
We don’t have endless time.
We have glue sticks, snack cups, and one quiet moment that may or may not last long enough to hit publish.

So no, I’m not here to say those strategies are wrong.
I’m here to say there’s another way to get there.

When “Doing All the Things” Becomes Too Much

I’ve been in your shoes.
I spent an entire year creating, posting, and trying to keep up with all the things the experts said I had to do.

And yes, I made progress, but I was also exhausted. I wasn’t tracking what was working, I didn’t have systems in place, and I was doing too much all at once.

Eventually, I hit that wall where it felt easier to stop than to keep going.
And once you stop? It’s hard to start again.

A week off turns into a month.
A month turns into six.
And before you know it, a whole season has passed and you’re wondering what could’ve been.

That’s why I created this space.

Because I don’t want you to burn out before you see the results of your hard work.

The Heart of It: Progress Over Perfection

This space isn’t about rejecting expert advice, it’s about adapting it.

If you can make ten new pins a day and you love doing it, amazing! Keep going.
If you can only make one? That counts too.

The goal here is to build a business that works on your best day and still runs on your worst.

To create systems and rhythms that keep you moving forward even when life feels messy.

Because slow progress is still progress.
And the truth is, small consistent steps create more momentum than any big burst of burnout ever will.

A Place for Real Creators in the Kid Niche

There are tons of amazing communities for Etsy sellers, Teachers Pay Teachers creators, printable designers, and crafters.

But where’s the space for people who do all of it?

Where are the childcare providers, preschool teachers, and stay-at-home moms who are building websites, selling printables, sharing toddler crafts, and learning SEO during rest time?

That’s the gap I saw, and it’s the one I wanted to fill.

This is a place for people who:

  • Are balancing real life and real business.
  • Want to build consistency without chaos.
  • Believe collaboration beats competition.

Even if you never team up with another person, it’s powerful to be surrounded by people who get it.

The Real Problem: Overwhelm and Comparison

A lot of people quit before they even start, not because they can’t do it, but because they get overwhelmed by how far ahead everyone else looks.

They see big shops, big email lists, big Pinterest numbers, and think, well, guess I missed my chance.

But here’s the thing: you didn’t miss anything. You just started where they started, at the beginning.

Every “big” creator you admire once had one product, one post, one pin. The only difference between where they are and where you want to be is that they kept going.

That’s what this space is about. Momentum over perfection. Consistency over comparison.

If we can stop looking sideways long enough to see what we’re actually building, we’ll start to notice how much progress is already happening.

Why This Space Exists

So here’s my “why” in one sentence:

To help you build something that fits your life, not the other way around.

You don’t have to do everything.
You just have to keep doing something.

That’s the heartbeat behind every post, video, and resource I create.

We’ll talk about systems that work for real people, challenges that create real progress, and ways to grow a creative business in the kid niche without losing sight of what matters most.

Because when you build momentum slowly and intentionally, it actually sticks.

So Welcome!

If you’re new here, welcome. You’re officially part of the group of dreamers who believe small steps still count.

This is your space to learn, grow, share, and build in a way that works for you.

So grab your coffee, hit play on the YouTube video, and let’s get started building your version of momentum.

Because you don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need a place to start and a community that cheers when you do. 💛
